This introductory hands-on lab course is designed for those with little or no direct experience working in a tissue culture laboratory.

About this Event

Mammalian cell culture is an essential and widely utilized laboratory technique required for employment across the biosciences industry. Mammalian cell culture techniques enable cells to be grown under controlled conditions outside of the body and are integral to many workflows in basic, applied, and therapeutic research.

This course provides hands-on training in best practices for isolating, maintaining, characterizing, cryopreserving, and manipulating in vitro cells in addition to independent research experience. It is an essential program for individuals looking to bridge the skills gap between college and employment and those seeking new career opportunities in the biotechnology field.

Attendees will benefit from having hands-on laboratory experience in the a state-of-the-art industry laboratory at University Lab Partners, as well as from interacting closely with fellow attendees and application scientists over a 3-week period.
