LA BioSpace supports startups with state-of-the-art wet lab space and access to equipment, office space, conference rooms, and amenities. Additional resources are also available at the Cal State LA campus including recruiting graduate and undergraduate students as research interns or employees.

BioLabs LA at The Lundquist Institute, an 18,000 square foot flexible and state-of-the-art co-working lab and office space, is currently home to 30 companies and 95 resident scientists. Located on the third floor of an 80,000 sq ft research facility filled with more than $1.5 million worth of shared equipment at The Lundquist Institute, members also have access to the amenities and resources of the entire institute.

The Magnify Incubator offers entrepreneurs a unique opportunity to grow their businesses at the California NanoSystems Institute (CNSI), within the preeminent research ecosystem of the UCLA campus. Magnify laboratory spaces feature lab benches, private lab suites, and shared BSL-2/2+ tissue culture rooms in addition to a variety of shared equipment. Magnify companies also have access to state-of-the-art scientific equipment and advanced instrumentation through CNSI’s Technology Centers.

We help genomic startups validate their science through our NGS lab while working with them to develop a viable business plan. Our advisory board spans the gamut from business professionals to leading scientists and doctors. Our goal is to graduate fully-developed companies that are ready to launch commercialization efforts.

Pasadena Bio is a non-profit organization providing low-cost access to 8’ lab benches, fume hoods, tissue culture rooms, a wide range of shared equipment, CITI programs, office space and amenities. We welcome both early-stage start-ups and those who have grown. Tenants benefit from our relationships with SoCal Bio, Biocom and KGI.

Life Sciences Incubator

The Life Sciences Incubator at UC Riverside is a 3,000 sq ft wet lab incubator that opened in 2019 to support up to 15 companies pursuing proof-of-concept research in the fields of AgTech, BioMedical, Bio Engineering and Chemistry. Residents have access to $1.5 million in modern lab equipment as well as UCR core facility.

Bio, Tech and Beyond (BTNB) operates a 7,000 ft2 research facility. We acquired the building as our new permanent home in 2019.  The facility includes a separate tissue culture room, fume hoods, dedicated chemical-resistant lab benches, -80C and -20C cold storage and about 30 pieces of shared laboratory equipment.
