Mike Hernandez received his PhD from the University of California – Irvine, under the mentorship of Dr. Andrea Tenner. His work investigated the contribution of C5a receptor 1 (C5aR1) to neuroinflammation and neuronal dysfunction in Alzheimer’s Disease, using vitro cell culture studies and mouse models of the disease. Prior to his current role as Technical Sales Specialist for flow cytometry antibodies and reagents, he supported the same portfolio in two different roles: Technical Applications Scientist and Associate Product Manager.
