University Lab Partners’ Introduction to Biosensors course offers students a firsthand insight into the biomedical industry and the creative problem-solving shaping modern healthcare.

During the five week hybrid course, you’ll explore:

  • The fundamentals of sensors and signals used in biosensing technology.

  • How biology and engineering intersect to create devices that deepen our understanding of the human body.

  • Engineering principles that support creative, fast, and practical solutions to real-world biomedical challenges.

Course Format

Hybrid learning

Weekly materials include short readings, videos, discussion posts, worksheets, and quizzes.

Weekly virtual check-ins

Students will share progress and ask at least one course-related question.

Hands-on experience

In the final week, join us in person at University Lab Partners. Students will put their knowledge into action with hands-on biosensor activities that bring the past four weeks of learning to life.

Scholarship Opportunities Available

All students are considered for need-based scholarships at the time of application. There is no additional application. ULP will notify scholarship recipients at the time of acceptance.
